    Lawful Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms and Conditions. You must not:

    • Use the Site to commit or encourage any unlawful act.

    Registration and Submission of Information

Certain services, including registration to attend the Forum or applications to participate in its activities, may require you to provide personal information or specified documents.

You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information. If you submit information on behalf of another person or organisation, you must have the necessary authority to do so.

Where user accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and notifying the Office if you suspect unauthorised use.

The Office may request additional information or verification and may suspend or reject applications that are incomplete, inaccurate or inconsistent with participation requirements.

  4. 04

    Forum Registration and Participation

Registration for the Forum, sessions, workshops and associated activities is subject to availability, eligibility requirements and any specific conditions announced for each activity.

Submitting a registration application or receiving an automated acknowledgement does not constitute final confirmation of participation unless the notification expressly confirms acceptance.

Registration alone does not create any obligation to arrange or pay for travel, accommodation, visas or related expenses, unless expressly confirmed in writing by the Office.

Certain activities, including competitions, initiatives and specialised programmes, may be governed by separate terms presented when applying.

  5. 05

    Programme and Event Updates

The Office makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information about the Forum. However, organisational requirements or circumstances beyond its control may require changes to the programme, session times, speakers, venue or participation format, or the postponement or cancellation of activities.

Updates will be communicated through the Site or official communication channels, as appropriate. Please consult these channels for the latest information.

  6. 06

    Privacy and Personal Data

Personal data collected through the Site will be processed in accordance with the privacy policy published on the Site and the laws and requirements applicable to the Office.

The privacy policy explains the types of data collected, the purposes of processing, circumstances in which data may be shared, retention and protection arrangements, and relevant contact channels.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions does not constitute unrestricted consent to use personal data for any purpose or replace any separate consent that may be required.

  7. 07

    Intellectual Property Rights

Rights in the content published on the Site, including text, designs, logos, photographs, recordings, audiovisual materials and downloadable files, belong to the Office or the relevant rights holders, unless otherwise stated.

You may view and use the content for personal, non-commercial reference, subject to copyright notices and any specific conditions accompanying the materials.

You must not copy, modify, republish, distribute or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by applicable law or published usage permissions.

Use of the Site does not grant permission to use the Office’s or the Forum’s names or logos in a manner suggesting an official partnership, sponsorship or endorsement without authorisation.

  8. 08

    User-Submitted Materials

When submitting or uploading materials through the Site, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights or permissions and that the materials do not infringe applicable laws or third-party rights.

The Office may reject or remove materials that breach these Terms and Conditions. This does not create an obligation to review all materials before publication.

Submitting materials does not transfer ownership to the Office. Their use will be governed by the purpose for which they were submitted and any specific terms or permissions presented at the time of submission.

  9. 10

    Suspension or Termination of Use

The Office may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the Site or any of its services in the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions, suspected unlawful use, security risks, or technical or organisational requirements.

Such action may be taken without prior notice where necessary, without prejudice to any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

  10. 11

    Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site, its content and its services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Although reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate information, security and availability, the Office does not guarantee that the Site will be entirely free from errors, interruptions or technical faults.

General information published on the Site does not guarantee service availability, acceptance of participation or the creation of a contractual obligation unless expressly confirmed by the Office.

  11. 12

    Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Office will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits or opportunities, or loss of data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or restricts rights protected by mandatory provisions of applicable law.

  12. 13

    Indemnity

Subject to applicable law and to the extent that your liability is established, you will be responsible for compensating the Office for losses and reasonable costs resulting from your unlawful use of the Site, infringement of third-party rights or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

  13. 14

    Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Ajman. Disputes arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Emirate of Ajman, subject to any mandatory jurisdictional rules.

If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
